-
Both! Private sessions offer personalised healing, while group sound baths provide shared community energy and relaxation. We also offer corporate and special event sessions.
-
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to relax fully. Layers are great, as some people get chilly when deeply relaxed.
-
Most sessions range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the service. Group sound baths usually last about an hour, while private sessions may be tailored to your needs.
-
Yes! Falling asleep is a natural response as your nervous system shifts into deep rest. It means your body is receiving the healing it needs.
-
While you’re welcome to bring meaningful items for your own comfort, the instruments used during sessions are carefully selected to create specific healing frequencies and vibrations.
Experience & Expectations
-
Each session is designed to bring you into a deep state of relaxation and energetic balance. You’ll lie down comfortably while being bathed in the gentle tones of crystal singing bowls and other healing instruments. There’s no effort required on your part, just arrive and receive.
-
Wear something comfortable and arrive a few minutes early to settle in. It can help to come with an open heart and a clear intention, but it’s absolutely fine if you don’t know what you need, your body and spirit will guide the way.
-
Everyone’s experience is different. Some feel deeply relaxed, others report physical sensations, emotional release, or mental clarity. Some people even fall asleep, and that’s totally fine. The sound meets you where you are.
-
After your session, your body and energy field may continue to process and realign. To support this gentle integration, we recommend:
Drink plenty of water – Sound can stir energy and emotions. Hydration helps clear and ground the body.
Rest if needed – You may feel deeply relaxed, tired, or even emotional. Give yourself space to be still or quiet.
Journal or reflect – Insights, memories, or feelings may rise. Writing them down can help make sense of your experience. If journalling is not really your thing but you would like to explore this to maximise the effects of the sound bath, you can email me and I can provide you with some prompts to help the process.
Avoid overstimulation – Try to keep things simple after your session. Soft lighting, quiet music, or nature can be especially nurturing.
Trust what unfolds – Some effects are immediate; others unfold subtly over time. However, you feel, it's valid.
Everyone’s experience is unique. If anything arises that feels confusing or emotional, feel free to reach out. Integration is part of the healing.
-
Some people feel immediate shifts; for others, changes unfold over days or weeks. Healing is a personal journey and often accumulates with regular sessions.
-
That’s okay. Healing can happen beneath the surface, and sometimes the effects are subtle or delayed. Trust that your body is responding in its own time.
-
Sound healing is safe and beneficial for most people, but there are some situations where caution or prior consultation is recommended:
Please let us know in advance if you:
Have a pacemaker or implanted medical device
The strong vibrations of certain instruments (especially gongs or low-frequency bowls) may interfere with electronic devices.
Are in the first trimester of pregnancy
While sound can be deeply supportive during pregnancy, we use gentler tones and avoid certain frequencies early on.
Have epilepsy or are prone to seizures
Certain rhythms or frequencies may be a trigger for some people. Please consult with your healthcare provider before attending.
Have a serious mental health condition
Those experiencing acute episodes of psychosis, schizophrenia, or PTSD may need a modified or trauma-informed approach. We recommend speaking with your therapist or doctor before participating.
Have sound sensitivity or sensory processing conditions
If you’re sensitive to sound, please let us know. We can adjust volume and instruments to create a more comfortable experience.
-
Sound healing is non-invasive and considered very safe. Most people leave feeling deeply relaxed, clear, and grounded. However, as with any modality that works on the energetic and emotional body, you may experience temporary effects as your system rebalances.
These can include:
Fatigue or emotional release – You might feel tired, teary, or introspective after a session. This is your body processing and clearing what’s no longer needed.
Heightened sensitivity – Some people notice increased awareness or sensitivity to light, sound, or emotions for a day or two.
Unusual dreams or sleep patterns – Sound can stir the subconscious, leading to vivid dreams or deeper sleep as your mind integrates the session.
A sense of “detox” – Occasionally, people report mild headaches or a need to hydrate more than usual. This can be part of energetic clearing.
These effects are usually short-lived and often followed by a sense of renewed clarity, peace, or insight. If anything ever feels overwhelming or unclear, I’m here to support you in integrating your experience.
-
Yes, with parental consent and depending on the child’s comfort level. Sessions for younger participants are adapted to be shorter and gentler.
-
Not at all! Sound healing is accessible for everyone, regardless of experience. Simply come with an open heart and a willingness to receive.
-
That’s completely okay. You don’t need any prior experience with meditation or healing work. All you need to do is lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound guide you. It’s about nervous system repair, not belief.
-
That’s absolutely respected. This isn’t talk therapy. If you're coming to a private session, you’re welcome to share as much, or as little, as you like. The sound does the work.
-
Think of sound healing as a reset from the inside out. It works on your nervous system, emotional state, and subtle energy. It's complementary to physical practices like gym or massage and can even enhance your recovery, focus, and resilience.

Sound healing gently works with the body’s natural ability to restore harmony. While it’s not a substitute for medical or psychological care, many people seek sound healing to support:
Stress and anxiety – Helps shift the nervous system into a relaxed, parasympathetic state.
Sleep issues or insomnia – Calms the mind and body, often leading to deeper, more restful sleep.
Emotional release – The frequencies can help move stagnant or stored emotions in a safe and gentle way.
Energetic imbalances – Supports chakra alignment and clears energetic blockages.
Mental overwhelm or burnout – Promotes clarity, inner stillness, and cognitive reset.
Spiritual connection – Creates space to connect with your inner self, intuition, or higher guidance.
Physical tension – Vibrations may help ease muscular tension and bring awareness to the body.
Creative flow – Opens up intuitive pathways and deepens presence, making space for inspiration.
Support during life transitions – Offers grounding, clarity, and emotional steadiness during change or grief.
Each session is unique. Sometimes the effects are subtle and accumulative; other times, they can feel immediately transformative.
-
Not at all. Sound healing is for everyone. Many men come seeking relief from stress, burnout, mental overwhelm, or just a space to unwind. There’s no expectation to “perform” or talk, just to receive and rest.
-
Yes! And the number is growing. Fathers, athletes, tradies, executives, creatives. Sound doesn’t discriminate. Many leave surprised by how deeply it landed. You’re not alone in seeking a different kind of strength, one that includes stillness.
-
Many people find sound healing supports pain relief by relaxing muscles and calming the nervous system. It’s a wonderful complement to medical care.
However, it’s important to remember that sound healing is not a substitute for medical treatment or professional healthcare. If you’re experiencing acute or chronic pain, please consult your healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment. Sound healing can be a complementary practice alongside your existing medical care to support your overall well-being.
-
Sound healing can be a gentle supportive tool for trauma, helping to regulate the nervous system. However, it should be part of a broader, trauma-informed healing plan.
-
This depends on your personal needs and intentions. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, others check in monthly or as needed. We’ll discuss what’s right for you during your first session.
-
Instruments are chosen intuitively based on your energy, intention, and the session’s purpose. Each sound has unique frequencies that interact with the body in different ways.
-
Yes! Sound healing works through vibration as well as sound, so many with hearing challenges still experience its calming and balancing effects.
-
Yes. Sound healing works by using vibration and frequency to help bring your brainwaves and body into a more coherent, relaxed state. This process, called entrainment, has been studied in neuroscience and is known to support parasympathetic activation (your rest-and-repair mode). You can read more about it here. Here are some research articles you can also refer to.
-
Absolutely! Sound healing complements many other healing modalities like massage, acupuncture, counselling, and yoga. It supports your body and mind’s natural balance, enhancing overall well-being.

Both group and private sound baths offer profound relaxation and healing, but they create very different experiences:
Group Sound Baths
A group sound bath is a shared experience in community, where you’re surrounded by others all tuning into the collective energy. It’s perfect if you enjoy being part of a group, want to sample sound healing, or are looking for a more accessible, social way to unwind.
Private Sound Baths
A private sound bath is a completely personalized, one-on-one experience designed around you. Every element, from the instruments chosen to the pace and flow, is tailored to your unique energy, needs, and intentions on the day. A bespoke essential oil blend, crafted just for you, enhances your healing from the moment you arrive, setting the tone for a deeply personalized and restorative experience.
You’ll have the space to go deeper, release more fully, and feel held in a way that’s simply not possible in a group. Many clients describe private sessions as profoundly restorative, like having a sanctuary just for themselves, where they can be truly seen and supported without distraction.
If you’re working through something specific, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual, a private session is the ideal way to experience the most focused and transformative results.
Not sure which option is right for you? Feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to chat and help you choose the experience that will best support where you are on your journey. Whether you’re drawn to the collective energy of a group or the deep, personalised care of a private session, you’ll be held with intention either way.
